Are you looking for a full-time supply role, five days a week, in a welcoming and supportive school environment?

I’m Dan, and I’ve been working closely with primary schools for the past two years, supporting them with their recruitment needs. I’m currently working with a school in Romford who are looking to appoint a supply Learning Support Assistant for an ongoing role, starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with the potential to continue long term depending on the school’s needs.
The Learning Support Assistant role involves working closely with pupils in the classroom to support their learning and wellbeing. This may include one-to-one support, small group work, or in-class support under the direction of the class teacher. You’ll help pupils stay engaged, follow routines and access the curriculum throughout the school day. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school setting

A calm, patient and supportive approach

Ability to follow teacher direction and school policies

Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs

An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
