Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored, one-on-one or small-group support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational needs, disabilities, or requiring additional academic assistance.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective, evidence-based learning strategies and interventions that cater to the unique learning styles and needs of each student.
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
- Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials, ensuring they are accessible and engaging for students with varying abilities.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages students to participate actively and develop confidence in their abilities.
- Attend and contribute to planning meetings, staff development sessions, and other relevant professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a safe and secure learning environment, adhering to all relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
- A relevant qualification in education, such as a Teaching Assistant Certificate, NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within a school or educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/guardians.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in using technology, including educational software and digital tools, to support student learning.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to promoting the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and implement new strategies to support students with diverse needs.
- A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or the willingness to obtain one.
