This new additional role is to drive performance improvement. It is responsible for leading the commercial and account management group in the gas sector driving the client centric approach and creating headroom for the AME Director to focus on strategic direction and growth.



Main Purpose of Role:

To ensure Commercial and Account Management is delivered by meeting the business requirements and delivering the expected quality to our clients. To prepare reports based on risk and performance, highlighting key areas for improvement and developing the appropriate implementation and mitigation plans. The role will be accountable for ensuring contract performance is analysed and recommendations presented to improve the Asset Management financial position. Overall, the role will ensure that the commercial and account management, manages risk at the appropriate level and escalates with solutions delivering predictable, sustained excellence in commercial and account management that translates into sustainable, upwardly trending financial success.



Qualifications:

Suitable degree in either engineering disciple or business administration
Proficient in Microsoft suite products – specifically excel


Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

Previous experience in an operations environment
Exceptional organizational skills
Financial management
Collaborative communication skills
Self-motivated and proactive
Competent in the use of Microsoft Applications
Proactive in providing solutions-based approach


Responsibilities:

Ensure account (financial)(quality)performance is met, key risks documented and escalated promptly.
Review month end results with the Director Asset Management – Providing analysis and explanations on variations – positive and negative.
Provide support and guidance to the account management team on the delivery of the accounts.
Liaise with key clients to determine any risks to account or commercial delivery.
Prepare summary of performance reports for Director Asset Management monthly, including balanced scorecard KPI’s.
Provide support and direction to the commercial team ensuring day-to-day requirements are executed in a timely manner along with identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and embed within the account management and commercial team the culture of collaboration, accountability and excellence.
Identify, recommend and implement areas for continuous improvement within account management and the commercial function.
Assist the Director AME in forecasting 12 month rolling for routine and AdHoc. Highlight key risk areas for not attaining budget as part of internal improvement efforts and risk escalation.
Help provide directed audit support for the AME service line.
Work directly with Operations and Account Management to provide medium-to-long-term look ahead for resourcing.
Provide support to proposals leveraging historical data to ensure that future bids meet the required margins and that they will be financially fit for purpose.
Deputise for the Director of AME when required.
The role is part of the Asset Management, Senior Management Team

Contract specific KPI’s reported monthly.
Forecasting submission by deadline
Contract health reported Biweekly using Project Performance LC dashboard
PPI Segment Balanced Scorecard
