Summary
About the Role
You will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and assessment in both workshop and classroom settings. As part of a supportive team, you’ll help learners succeed by meeting targets for attendance, progress, and achievement, while assessing work and providing clear feedback, including support with English and Maths. You’ll adapt teaching to meet individual needs, remove barriers to learning, and help learners understand how their skills link to the wider world. You’ll also support college events and marketing, work closely with colleagues, and maintain health and safety standards
About You
· You will have relevant industry experience working in the construction sector.
· You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry, or an equivalent qualification.
· You will have, or be willing to work towards, a PGCE, DTTLS, or Certificate in Education.
· You will be happy to complete Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding training as part of the role.
