We are seeking an Learning Management System Assistant to support the Learning & Development Systems Manager to develop the training systems and the training materials on offer through our systems. .

The LMS Assistant is responsible for supporting the Group Learning & Development Team in ensuring the Learning Management Systems are kept up to date with all colleagues' training requirements and records of learning.

What you'll be working:

  • Remote/Home based with occasional travel when required
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday
  • 9.00am - 5.30pm
  • £28,000 per annum

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensuring that our Learning Management system is kept up to date to ensure the smooth running of the booking schedule, compliance reporting and e-learning.
  • Manage the learners on the LMS; enroll all new starters, archive leavers, support services to manage their suspended learners.
  • Support the L&D Systems Manager to build the programmes for new services. Work with the service to ensure they have all learners on the system which must include their recognition of prior learning.
  • Liaise with our 3rd party providers to ensure the smooth running of the systems.
  • A contact for the services; system issues, course queries, new training requirements to be included on the system.
  • Support the L&D Systems Manager to build, review and update the training matrices and training audiences.
  • Preparing all necessary documentation required for the training courses. Saving/uploading documentation to the company system
  • Support the Training Team to ensure cost efficiency in creation, production and delivery of training resources
  • Train the services on the LMS so that they can run reports and deal with day to day queries for their colleagues.
  • Attend and contribute to Team Meetings as required
  • Maintain own knowledge and competence by undertaking appropriate continuing professional development.
  • Tasks and projects as determined by L&D Systems Manager
  • Inform the Learning and Development Manager of any issues that are likely to adversely impact quality of client care and/or health and safety of employees

What you'll have:

  • Experience within an administrative role essential
  • Experience of working with Learning Management Systems desirable
  • Experience of working with large amounts of Data essential
  • Working in a care organisation desirable but not essential
  • Sound knowledge and competence of using Information technology is essential
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
