Production Operator
* Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm (40 hours p/w)

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operator to join our team within our Added Value Department at our Carlisle mill. As
a Production Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of duties across the Department, working within a team and
individually.
Specifically, some responsibilities of a Production Operator include:
* Manual handling of timber.
* Operating semi-automated machine centres.
* Working towards set production targets.
* Upholding the appropriate Health & Safety practices.
About you:
Ideally, we’re seeking motivated individuals who are quality focused and understand the value of the goods they are producing. A
degree of flexibility will be required to ensure operations are maximised, maintained and quality targets are met with minimum
wastage. In addition, you will have:
* Good computer, numeracy, and literacy skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A self-motivated and can-do attitude.
* Appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
* Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
* Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous.
