A female personal assistant is required to support a lovely, friendly young lady with a learning disability and epilepsy, currently managed by medication. As a personal assistant you will be required to provide support in a range of areas including but not limited to:
• Support within the home
• Support, prompting and guidance with preparation of meals and drinks
• Support with personal hygiene, including hair washing and bathing and showering
• Prompting and practical help with hygiene and cleaning after toileting
• Prompting and support with dressing
• Provide a calm, reassuring presence
If you are friendly, understanding, patient and flexible and want to provide support to a lovely young lady who needs some prompting and support with personal care then please apply. Experience of working with people with a learning disability and epilepsy would be an advantage but not essential, provided you are keen to learn.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by employer) and references.
