As a Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualised support and attention to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require to succeed
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies, adapting lesson plans and materials as needed
- Monitoring student progress, providing feedback to teachers, and regularly communicating with parents and guardians
- Assisting with classroom management, behaviour support, and the implementation of behaviour management plans
- Participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with special educational needs
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student progress, interventions, and support provided
- Upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all students in our care
