Summary

For further information please refer to the job description and personal specification Advise the Divisional Director, Clinical Services and Chief Nurse on all issues pertaining to palliative care in cancer services. To provide professional leadership for the nursing staff throughout the Trust in palliative care and more specifically contributing to a specialist body of knowledge. To represent the Chief Nurse on internal and external projects and committees relating to palliative care issues as required, ensuring that work is delivered in a timely manner. Raise the profile of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust positively and appropriately locally, nationally and internationally by presenting conference papers, publishing and sharing good practice. Provide professional leadership for nursing staff across the Trust, contributing to a specialist body of knowledge in palliative care. Work as an integral member of the senior management team, influencing strategy, education, and service development. Develop research interests in furthering palliative and end of life care An expert clinician in palliative care with advanced knowledge and experience A strong leader with the ability to inspire and support nursing teams. Commitment to audit, research, and education, ensuring continuous improvement in patient care. Passion for delivering care that prioritises quality of life and patient choice. Excellent communicator who can share best practice across the trust
