Summary

IPS Group have an exciting new opportunity to join a specialist Insurer in their Birmingham Office in the heart of Colmore Row in this newly created position for the Birmingham Branch based on continued growth of their technology product.

As a Technology Underwriter you will focus on technology based risks which are written as a combined policy focusing on cyber, P&C and professional indemnity.
There will be an interesting variety of firms that you will be insuring with products including IT products, applications, programming services, computer hardware and emerging medical technology products.

You manage a panel of specialist Brokers building relationships and offering solutions using your technical expertise. You will work closely with the Technology Manager to asses and develop strategy and appetite.

This role will be new business focused predominantly but you will also underwrite existing business carrying out MTA’s.
To be considered you must have experience of relevant product lines, cyber, PI or P&C not necessarily all of them however you must have a keen interest in the technology sector with a desire to specialise in this.
