Summary
Job Purpose
To work as part of the production team in the preparation, packing, and handling of fresh produce, ensuring all products meet Huntapac Produce Ltd quality, food safety, and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Grading, sorting, weighing, and packing fresh produce in line with company specifications
• Operating basic production and packing machinery safely and efficiently
• Ensuring correct labelling, date coding, and packaging of products
• Carrying out quality checks to maintain product standards
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
• Following Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Company policies and procedures
• Meeting productivity and performance targets
• Reporting faults, damages, or quality issues to the Supervisor
• Assisting with cleaning of work areas and equipment
• Working flexibly across different production lines as required
Health, Safety & Food Hygiene
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work
• Adhere to food hygiene, HACCP, and BRC standards
• Wear required PPE and follow hygiene rules at all times
• Report accidents, near misses, or hazards immediately
Skills & Experience
Note: This role involves manual handling, with heavy lifting required in some departments.
Essential:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good timekeeping and attendance
• Willingness to follow instructions and procedures
Desirable:
• Previous experience in food production, packing, or warehouse work
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Manual handling experience

Working Conditions
• Production/packing environment (chilled conditions apply)
• Standing for long periods
• Manual handling involved, with heavy lifting required in some departments

• 05:30 – 14:00
• 14:00 – 22:30
