Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Royal School is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and innovative School Business Manager to jointhis heavily oversubscribed day and boarding free school.

Overall Purpose of the Role

As a senior member of the School’s support staff team, the Business Manager will have operationalresponsibility for a broad portfolio of non-teaching functions, including (but not limited to) finance operations,

human resources, estates and facilities, health and safety, procurement, data protection and key externalcontracts (e.g. IT and catering).

Working closely with the Principal/CEO, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the executive leaders of the school,the Business Manager will ensure that the School’s business operations are efficient, compliant and alignedwith the Trust’s strategic priorities, enabling leaders and teachers to focus on the quality of education andpupil outcomes.

The Business Manager will line manage a portfolio of the School’s allocated support teams and will act asthe School’s lead for data protection and compliance
