Summary
My client based in Colwick is currently looking for a Production Operative to join their manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, supporting the manufacture of high-quality gas cylinders to exacting standards.
This is a rotating shift over 3 which will be as per the below:
0600-1400
1400-2200
2200-0600
finishing early every Friday and paying £12.78 per hour weekly pay with a shift allowance and O/T available
Key Responsibilities
- Operating production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Following standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Carrying out manual handling tasks as required
- Performing basic quality checks to ensure products meet specification
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area in line with health & safety standards
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet production targets
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred, not essential)
- A strong awareness of health & safety practices
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work reliably as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and be flexible across different production tasks
