Summary
CMA Recruitment Group are supporting a growing business in Basingstoke, Hampshire who are recruiting for a Finance Manager to take full ownership of its finance function. This is a hands-on role managing all areas of finance, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with senior leadership and supporting the wider business. You will be a qualified accountant and ideally have previous experience in a similar role.
What will the Finance Manager role involve?
• Full ownership of the finance function, including month-end close, management accounts, statutory reporting, cashflow and banking
• Oversight of transactional finance (AP, AR, payroll, VAT) and maintenance of strong financial controls
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support commercial decision-making
• Continuous improvement of finance processes, systems and reporting while acting as a key finance contact for senior stakeholders
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing all areas of finance, ideally in an SME environment
• Strong technical accounting and commercial awareness
• Hands-on, proactive and comfortable working independently
