Summary
We are seeking to appoint aJunior Clinical Fellow in ENTto join the team at the West Middlesex site of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will work alongside Consultants and middle‑grade doctors to support the delivery of high‑quality elective and emergency ENT care. Duties include ward-based patient care, participation in the on‑call rota, and involvement in outpatient and theatre activity as required.
This is a6‑month fixed-term post, with a start date as soon as possible.

• Provide clinical care for ENT patients across elective and emergency pathways, under Consultant and middle‑grade supervision.
• Participate fully in the on‑call rota.
• Support Registrars with day‑to‑day administrative and clinical management of the firm.
• Supervise, support, and teach pre‑registration house officers and medical students.
• Contribute to ward rounds, clinics, emergency referrals, and theatre sessions as required.
• Take part in audit, quality improvement, and departmental teaching activities.
• Ensure high standards of documentation and communication within the multidisciplinary team.

The Junior Clinical Fellow will form an integral part of the ENT team at the West Middlesex Hospital. The post offers broad exposure to ENT clinical practice, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and perioperative care. The role is well‑supported, with direct supervision from Consultants and senior trainees.
The post holder will participate in the on‑call rota, providing first-line assessment and management of acute ENT presentations. They will also contribute to the day‑to‑day clinical and administrative running of the firm and support the training and development of more junior colleagues and medical students.
Engagement in audit, research, teaching, and quality improvement is encouraged, and opportunities will be supported where possible.
This post is offered for an initial 6‑month period, with potential extension subject to service needs. Applicants must hold full GMC registration with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
