Summary
To assist in the management of the unit on a day-to-day basis by appropriate deployment, delegation and supervision of all grades of staff. To act as a team leader on shift. To facilitate an improvement in the quality of healthcare for patients. To help provide a conducive working and learning environment. To support the senior sister to promote evidence-based nursing practice within the unit.
