Summary

Title: Groundworker East London

Contract Type: Permanent Full time 40 hours per week

Salary: £34,028 per annum single trade or £39,707 dual trade (assessed based on skill set)

Grade: 5

Working Location: East London and Essex

Reporting Office: London, Stratford

Persona: Mobile working (van for business use)

Working Pattern: 8 to 5 Monday to Friday. Call outs per rota basis

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Groundworker to become part of our in-house Maintenance Team. A company vehicle for business use, PDA fuel card, Uniform and PPE and parking paid will all be provided.



The role will include all aspects of groundwork need to have experience in Fencing, Brickwork and pointing. Concrete works, and Slabbing. We welcome knowledge of additional trades.



Candidates will have experience in drainage repair and renewing, flagging, fencing, concrete works, tarmac patching, and manhole repairs. We also carry out High Pressure water jetting of drains, experience of jetting isn’t required as full training will be provided to the right candidate.



The focus will be on high-quality work, outstanding customer service and the right first-time attitude. You will be required to work as part of a larger team as part of this role.

The role requires a knowledge of building and housing preferably with the Social Housing Environment. Customer Service skills and ability to deal with vulnerable people.
