Summary

The Constellation Trust are looking for a forward thinking, experienced and enthusiastic HR professional to join our central Trust team to support the delivery of the Constellation Trust's HR strategy and play a pivotal role in the effective delivery of HR functions. You will lead on HR across the Constellation Trust which currently consists of two secondary schools, seven primary schools and a PRU resulting in a varied and challenging workload. You will be a credible, positive and proactive HR practitioner with excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills and a good track record of making a positive difference. You will have experience of working with leaders and managers in providing generalist HR support and carrying out critical HR interventions to support with complex cases. Salary: Support Leadership Pay Scale SL20 £74,637 - SL24 £81,895 for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, full time (all year round) with an annual leave entitlement starting at 32 days per year. You should have a relevant professional qualification at degree level and/or demonstrable experience at a comparable level of working as a senior HR professional within a large organisation. You will have a broad-based experience of supporting managers at a senior level with restructures, discipline, grievance, absence and capability issues. In addition, you must be able to interpret employment legislation, policies and procedures and advise on more complex human resource issues such as potential TUPE transfers and redundancy processes. The role will involve working with colleagues within the central Trust team in maintaining continuous improvement and efficiencies. You will be expected to provide regular HR reports to the Trust Board, attend meetings, deliver training as and when required and line manage a small HR team. This is a full time position based within the central Trust team.
