Summary

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Thames Water Framework team based on on two projects in Surrey.Location: working from home from offices and sites in the Surrey area

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

About the roleJoin our commercial team as a Quantity Surveyor working on an exciting Water Framework or Major Project. You'll be part of a supportive environment where everyone is empowered to achieve their career goals, working collaboratively from the early contractor involvement stage through to construction completion.

What will you be responsible for?As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering effective cost management and contractual control. Your day to day will include:

-Working collaboratively with project delivery teams to ensure contractual control and cost management across different sectors

-Managing commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement through to final account agreement

-Contributing to project delivery throughout the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction to completion

-Participating in negotiations to ensure the best possible financial outcomes

-Supporting an inclusive workplace where diversity and wellbeing are prioritized

What are we looking for?This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

-You have a commercial/construction-related degree or equivalent qualification

-You hold a full UK driving licence

-You have previous experience working in a commercial role for a contractor

-You're familiar with a variety of contract forms

-You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy building relationships
