Summary

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Thames Water Framework team working on two projects in Surrey.

Location: working from home from offices and sites in the Surrey area

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in the commercial management of our water framework projects, from early contractor involvement through to construction completion.

What will you be responsible for?As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering effective financial management across water projects. Your day to day will include:

-Managing project valuations, cashflows and financial forecasts, including preparing comprehensive monthly cost reports

-Ensuring compliance with procurement strategies, handling subcontract tenders and reviews

-Providing expert contractual advice on change orders and subcontractor administration

-Developing margin improvement plans and identifying commercial opportunities

-Mentoring junior team members and fostering an inclusive working environment

What are we looking for?This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

-You hold a degree in Commercial/ Construction or a related field

-You have commercial experience working with a contractor, ideally with MEP exposure

-You're comfortable working with various contract forms and documentation

-You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy building relationships

-You have a full UK driving licence
