The RoleThis position is for a dedicated and resilient Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary setting in Barnsley on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing pre-set lessons during the absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain on task and productive. Unlike a teaching role, there is no requirement for lesson planning or marking; the focus is entirely on classroom management, student engagement, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
