About Us

We are a small advisory team working with early years providers to ensure high quality early education and childcare across Oxfordshire. We are part of the education team within Children and Family's Directorate.

About the Role

The post includes working with school leaders including governors and practitioners.As this is a Lead role, the specialist will be required to strategically lead on the given area within the team such as literacy or improving outcomes for disadvantaged children.

The purpose of the role is to work with schools and settings to ensure and promote high quality and inclusive early years education and childcare across Oxfordshire through targeted visits, training and commissioning

About you

We are looking for a well-qualified and highly experienced Early YearsLeader (must be a qualified teacher - QTS) who is working in a senior position within a school e.g. Headteacher or member of SLT. A good knowledge of how young children learn and develop is essential. Applicants should be able to demonstratesupportive work with other schools and settings.The candidate should be able to work effectively within a team and should becompetent in ICT, meet deadlines and able to work from home.
