Summary
To work as part of the Theatre Patient Escort reception team and the wider multidisciplinary team, providing an efficient and effective patient movement service within the Theatre directorate. The post holder will also be responsible for the transportation of items required for immediate patient care, including items such as medical gases, specimens, blood, medication and equipment. The post holder will be trained in house in all aspects of patient escorting/reception and will be expected to carry out their duties adhering to all trust policies and procedures.
