Summary
We are seeking to appoint a HLTA to join our Attendance and Engagement Team at the PRU.
The core aim of the role is to support young people to overcome a range of barriers to improve their engagement with education.
It is essential that you hold a driving licence and are confident to drive school transport.
You will be expected to work within the school’s policy expectations, strengthening links with young people, their families and other agencies
The successful candidate will:
understand the value of education and contribute to the distinctive ethos of the centre
have strong pastoral skills and behaviour management strategies
be flexible and a committed team player
have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire students
understand and demonstrate the importance of attention to detail in their work
The successful candidates will need to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring that children make rapid progress in a supportive and caring environment.
