Summary
Operate on a day shift and on call rota you will be actively responding to breakdowns and job requests. Manage the team to provide Planned Preventative Maintenance and fault-finding on generators, fire alarms, lighting and power, distribution boards, boilers, air-handling units, chiller plant, medical gas systems, calorifiers and hot & cold-water networks Assess, diagnose and provide solutions to complex faults on Healthcare Building Services Evaluate and respond effectively to emergency situations, prioritising safety for patients, staff and the public Conduct and document your own risk assessments for medium and high-risk tasks Ensure strict compliance with Trust policies, statutory standards and health & safety legislation Liaise with the Senior Management team in response to emergency situations including Estates participation in the Trusts Major Incident and Business Continuity Plan
