You will be responsible for
- Lead end-to-end delivery of defined Finance Change projects following the agreed methodology and assurance frameworks
- Collaborate with project sponsors, Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders to ensure shared ownership and delivery of project outcomes.
- Drive complex change using best-in-class project and change management methodologies.
- Deliver projects to agreed timelines and budgets, proactively challenging and course-correcting as needed.
- Works with Resource Manager to manage the resource planning and any capacity constraints to support the delivery of the plan and take corrective action where necessary.
- Act as the first point of escalation for the project team.
- Manage all project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
- Ensure milestones and key deliverables are realistic in line with key activities
- Align project plans and manage dependencies with broader programme plans.
- Provide project status summaries and reporting into relevant governance forums.
- Be able to present relevant content at project, portfolio, and governance forums as required.
- Adhere to planning and reporting standards.
- Creating and maintaining project artefacts. Lead the process for assessing change requests.
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions and post-implementation reviews.
- Continuously improve team engagement and performance.
You will need
- Proven track record delivering end-to-end projects from initiation to transition.
- Project management experience involving Finance and/or Technology change
- Experience delivering projects involving AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics (e.g., implementing AI-powered finance tools, automating financial processes, or deploying data-driven solutions) desirable
- Familiarity with AI governance, data privacy, and ethical considerations in finance desirable
