We are currently recruiting cover supervisors to work across secondary schools in Dawlish and the surrounding areas. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we can offer placements that suit your availability and preferences.Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Support students with their learning and respond to questions where appropriate
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils during lessons

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational setting
• Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different subjects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
