We are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work across schools in St Albans and the surrounding areas. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we can offer placements that suit your availability and preferences.Duties as Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils in both classroom and one-to-one settings
• Assist the class teacher in delivering learning activities
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
• Help create a calm and inclusive learning environment
• Work closely with the SENCO and other support staff to implement individual education plans
• Provide feedback on pupil progress and behaviour to teaching staff
• Support pupils during transitions and break times

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
• Strong understanding of behaviour management and inclusive practices
• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff
• Resilient, patient and empathetic approach
• Relevant qualifications or training in education, psychology or youth work (desirable)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
