Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping essential services running smoothly by supporting a range of finance and administrative tasks. From auditing commissioned care and processing care provider payments to maintaining accurate records in our customer case management database, your attention to detail will make a real difference. You’ll use digital tools like Oracle and Excel to stay organised and ensure everything is on track, while working closely with care providers and frontline staff to keep things moving on time. As part of a friendly, supportive team that values your ideas and input, you’ll help us deliver the best possible service to those who need it most.
You will need
- Experience in Financial and Administrative Processes.
- Good IT, including Microsoft Office and email, and admin skills.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
- An interest in finance, business, or public service.

The team
In this role you will be part of a team, who provide a county wide service, where you will be supporting the relevant manager who is responsible for services within your area.
As part of this team, you will work towards the Suffolk County Council’s vision and Adult Social Cares priorities to promote better outcomes for residents of Suffolk.
The team that you will be part of, is responsible for supporting some of the most vulnerable adults in Suffolk offering services such as social services, occupational therapy professionals, helping people to maintain independence to stay at home, mental health and learning disability services, commissioning and contracting functions.
