Shipper

South Molton | £12.25 per hour + overtime | Day shift | Monday to Friday | Temp to Perm

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Shipper to join a well-established company in South Molton on a temp-to-permanent basis.

Key Duties
  • Manage the despatch process of finished goods, transfer parts, and return goods to customers and suppliers.

  • Act as authorised signatory and release to EASA Form 1.

  • Authorised release of dangerous goods in line with IATA Regulations.

  • Complete DAIN and 640 documentation.

  • Pack goods against picking lists, following strict procedures.

  • Generate despatch documentation and associated paperwork.

  • Ensure correct carrier selection based on client and destination.

  • Liaise internally with department heads, Commercial, and P&L teams.

  • Achieve and maintain QC Scope stamp.

  • Support stores duties, including issuing parts against material requests.

  • Receive and check components against incoming documentation.

  • Apply lean materials management principles.

Requirements
  • Flexible approach to meet business needs.

  • Knowledge of traceability processes.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills.

  • IT literate with Microsoft Office experience (Word and Excel, including data analysis).

  • Aerospace experience advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4:45pm.

  • Friday: 8am to 12pm.
