Summary

Aston University is entering an exciting phase of transformation as part of its Aston 2030 Strategy, with Aston Professional positioned as a key driver of commercial growth, employer engagement and revenue diversification.

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Aston Professional to lead the strategic development and growth of our professional and employer-led education portfolio, including Degree Apprenticeships and Executive Education.

Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and Director of Business Development and Advancement, you will identify and convert new markets, strengthen employer partnerships, and deliver commercially successful, high-quality programmes aligned to business and industry needs. You will lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams, embed robust quality and compliance frameworks, and ensure an outstanding experience for learners and employers.

You will bring a strong track record of commercial income growth, senior leadership experience in a regulated environment, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into scalable, market-led delivery models. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the future of professional education at Aston University.
