Full time, Monday to Friday with some overtime at weekends
Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of high-quality signage and fabrication solutions.
Role
As an Assembly Operative, you will work on a wide range of projects, following drawings and instructions to ensure all signage is produced to the highest standards of quality and finish. You will be hands-on, working with different materials and components. We're looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Main Duties
- Assemble signage products, including structural components, face panels, brackets, and LED lighting systems.
- Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.
- Assist with fitting and wiring LED lighting where required.
- Ensure all completed signage meets quality and finish standards.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided).
- Strong practical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to work overtime when required.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality.
- Ability to work confidently with hand tools.
Hourly rate is dependent on experience and to be discussed at interview. This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate.
