Yorkshire Containers Ltd operates depots in Leeds and Hull , offering quality anti-vandal accommodation and containers. The company has recently expanded its fleet of anti-vandal offices, office stores, toilet blocks, and storage units and we now require a yard operative to help in the preparation of our units.
Role Description
We are seeking a motivated Yard Operative to join our team at our Leeds site. This is on a part time basis (3 days 24 hour per week ), on-site role that involves preparing , painting and cleaning all units for delivery, and assisting with general repairs and maintenance of the units. Other responsibilities include ensuring health and safety standards are met and working collaboratively with the team to support daily operations.
Qualifications
• Understanding of health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to efficiently collaborate with colleagues
• Physical fitness for manual handling and working in outdoor conditions
• Forklift license or experience operating machinery is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous
Hourly Rate £12.50 per hour
