Summary

Are you passionate about supporting international students and helping them succeed in their studies in the UK?

The Student Immigration Service is looking for an Operations Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated team of specialist advisers and administrators.

About the role

As a Student Immigration Operations Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting international students and assisting the wider team in maintaining the University’s licence to sponsor Student visas for study in the UK.

Your main responsibilities will include:
* Providing clear signposting for international students on visa and immigration matters.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a consistent, high-quality service.
* Assisting with processes related to Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) for international students.
* Contributing to procedures that uphold the University’s Student visa sponsor status.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:
* is an experienced and efficient administrator with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
* has excellent interpersonal skills to respond effectively to queries from students and colleagues.
* can confidently use and develop a range of administrative systems and reporting tools to deliver tasks promptly and professionally.
& demonstrates strong organisational abilities and a proactive approach to improving administrative processes.

It is also desirable if you have experience working in a Higher Education environment and some knowledge of immigration requirements for students.

Further information

This is a full-time role, working 36.5 hours per week. We operate an informal hybrid working pattern, with a minimum expectation of two days per week on campus. However, if the duties of the role require a greater on campus presence, you will be expected to work on campus full-time as required.
