Job Title: Executive Assistant to CEO
Starting Salary: £14,552 per annum
Hours: 22 hours per week (over 4 days)
Contract: Part time, permanent.

The Matthew Project is a value driven charity working across Norfolk giving help and hope through programmes with adults, young people and communities affected by drugs and alcohol.
We wish to recruit a dedicated and professional Executive Assistant into this key position that facilitates the smooth running, efficiency, and effectiveness of the organisation. Working primarily with the CEO, with your excellent communication skills, you will deliver confidential and comprehensive administrative support. You will also assist the Chair of Trustees in preparing for bi-monthly trustee board meetings, and post-meeting follow-up.
As the ideal candidate, you will be:
• highly organised and a self-starter who can use their initiative and work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and other key staff to resolve issues and improve processes.
• able to develop a good understanding of all aspects of the charity’s management and strategy to become an integral part of the organisation. Preparing agendas and attending organisational meetings to take minutes is a significant part of this role.
• an excellent communicator and be able to build and maintain good working relationships within the organisation to facilitate meeting objectives.
• self-reliant, professional, confident and comfortable when dealing with people at all levels internally and externally.
This role is primarily office-based, with flexibility in working hours and consideration for some hybrid working. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, of any faith or none. The role will require the completion of a basic DBS process before starting.
