Summary

About the Role

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to join an established and supportive team of five PAs in a friendly family home in Thurnby. This vacancy is to complete the team — you’ll be joining a stable, experienced group who work well together and genuinely support one another.

You will be supporting a woman in her early 40s with a spinal cord injury (tetraplegia). She lives with her husband and young child and leads a busy, active life. This is a role where no two days are the same — one day might involve cooking and shopping, another getting out and about socially, alongside providing essential daily support.

The focus of the role is supporting independence, dignity, and choice, while working collaboratively as part of a close-knit PA team. This is a long-term, secure role paid via Direct Payments, offering continuity, teamwork, and a genuinely positive working environment.

Pay: £14.33 per hour
Equivalent to: £31,742.90 per annum (based on 37.5 hours per week, including accrued holiday pay and Bank Holiday enhancements)
Contract type: Hourly – Direct Payment
Hours: Flexible (full-time or part-time available)
Unable to offer overseas sponsorship.

Shift Times:
07:30 – 17:00
17:00 – 22:00

(Flexible full-time or part-time hours available)
