Summary

We are looking for drivers who enjoy cleaning to open, close and clean our public toilets and various Council buildings in Fife.

Transport will be provided to carry cleaning equipment and stock and for travel between sites.

We currently have 2 permanent posts to join our mobile cleaning team based out of Bankhead Central, Glenrothes:

Post 1 - 10 hours per week, 52 week contract Monday to Friday - 7:00am - 9:00am
Post 2 - 5 hours per week, 52 week contract Saturday & Sunday - 7:00am - 9:30am

You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Ability to travel within Fife.
Travel expenses will be paid - we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.

This work is about ensuring public conveniences and offices in the vicinity are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

Driver’s licence required for Council vehicle provided to carry out cleaning.

Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.

You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.
