Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Support Officer, this role offers the opportunity to work on large scale, business critical systems that directly support students, staff, and the wider community.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
Delivering technical development, configuration, integration, and support for the University’s core business systems, including Finance, HR and Student Records
Designing, building, and supporting integrations and data flows between internal systems and third-party platforms, using APIs, SQL, and Microsoft technologies
Acting as a senior technical escalation point, providing second- and third-line support, managing system changes, and working closely with vendors and business stakeholders
You will play a hands-on role in major transformation initiatives, including the student records system implementation and the adoption of Microsoft first strategy. This is a chance to shape how systems integrate and evolve and work across a broad range of services and develop deep institutional knowledge while contributing to long term digital change in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About You
As a Business Systems Support Officer, you will have:
Experience in developing, supporting, and integrating mission critical business systems, with strength in databases, APIs, and structured system change
Confidence in technical work, with strong analytical skills and comfort troubleshooting complex issues across live environments
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and build effective relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A customer focused mindset and interest in continuous improvement and innovation are key personal; qualities for success in this role.
