Summary
Electrical Operatives/Jointers Mate - Essex
FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for Electrical Operatives/Mate for onsite project work based in Harlow in Essex. Salary is £30,000 to £35,000 plus benefits. Working as part of a team for underground electrical distribution jointing/cable projects.
Responsibilities:
To conduct electrical activities in accordance with industry standards (NERS) & working in line with company procedures and risk assessments and method statements
Supporting jointing and cable distribution projects
Attend team briefs and toolbox talks, & training courses as required
Accurately recording details of work undertaken
Skills and Experience required for the Electrical Mate/Operative roles.
Relevant Electrical Engineering certification (i.e. LV Support Person / Jointers mate)
Relevant Authorisations
Minimum 1-year operational experience in the power industry.
Have EUSR SHEA card (Power/other as required).
SWQR Operative Certificate, Units LA & 01(preferable).
Hold Emergency First Aid, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness certificates
Appropriate plant/equipment operators’ certificate(s) (preferable)
UK Driving Licence
