CNC Miller and Turner Operator

Introduction

Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Miller and Turner Operator to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a passion for precision engineering and a strong attention to detail.

Key Duties:
  • Operate and set CNC milling and turning machines to produce components to exact specifications.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.

  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and rotary units for efficient machining processes.

  • Carry out routine maintenance to ensure machine reliability.

  • Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to assemble and inspect parts as required.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

  • Support warehouse operations, including materials handling and inventory.

Requirements:
  • Formal qualification in CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience operating and setting CNC milling machines.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.

  • Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and rotary units.

  • Understanding of precision measurement tools and quality control.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised workplace.
