Summary
We have a great opportunity for a qualified swimming teacher to work within a private swimming pool on the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire. Working in conjunction with our Swimming Coordinator you will have strong organisational skills, be enthusiastic, creative and able to provide an enjoyable learning environment for children of all abilities to the highest standard. This involves the need for patience, diplomacy, imagination, good communication skills and confidence. You will also have a Swim England Level 2 or above Teaching certificate, alongside a current valid lifeguarding qualification. A current first aid at work certificate would be advantageous or prepared to undertake training to obtain. Experience of teaching parent and baby swimming lessons would be advantageous. You must be willing to undergo a DBS check. In this temporary role, you will work Mondays 4pm to 6.30pm, and Tuesdays 11.00am to 12.30pm and 2.45pm to 6.45pm. Some paid time each week will also be required to undertake lesson planning and evaluation and is inclusive of set up / packing away pre and post lessons. Administration hours can be worked from home.
