CNC Press Brake Operator
Leicester Area
Hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm Monday to Friday Full time, permanent.
Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour.
DC Personnel are recruiting for a precision engineering company based in the Leicester area is currently looking to recruit a CNC Press Brake Operator to join their production team.
This role will primarily involve the operation of Bystronic or Amada press brake machines. Previous experience operating press brakes is preferred, however candidates with relevant sheet metal or manufacturing experience will also be considered, as training can be provided.
Key Responsibilities :
• Operate CNC press brake machinery (Bystronic / Amada)
• Load programs and carry out basic machine adjustments as required
• Work from technical drawings with support where needed
• Produce small batch and one-off components
• Operate basic workshop equipment such as pillar drills
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with Health & Safety procedures
• Assist with other general workshop duties as required
You will ideally come with :
• Experience operating CNC press brakes or similar machinery
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings
• Willingness to learn and develop skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Setting experience is advantageous but not essential
