Summary
A chance to join a fun but high performing team with considerable depth and breadth of experience, working with International competition horses and offering horse rehabilitation servic.
Recruiting for a caring individual who is seeking to start a career working with horses. The individual will be keen to learn and enjoy dealing with a wide range of horses.
As a team they have a lot of fun so a sense of humour is essential but they also work hard. Your day to day activities will include:
Feeding
Loading the horse walker
Turning out/In
Changing rugs
Washing feed bowls
Mucking out
Customer service to internal and external membersThe apprenticeship is practical based so not lots of time in the classroom. If you did not gain your GCSE's we can help you whilst on programme.
Training
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
Qualifications required
A GCSE or equivalent pass in English and maths is beneficial but not essential. If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.
