Summary
We’re looking for a proactive Loading Bay Officer to support the management team in ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of the Loading Bay. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you’ll be liaising daily with the client and occupiers FM teams regarding deliveries, contractor access, and activity within this corporate building.Information:Position: Loading Bay OfficerLocation: London (EC3N)Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour Hours: 60 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Friday - 0700 to 1900 Job Requirements:SIA Licence requiredExperience as a Loading Bay Officer/Lead Officer/Team Leader/Supervisor is required.A working knowledge or an interest in the customer service environmentExcellent levels of customer service at all times as well as communication both written & verbalReliable, Responsible and Punctual.To have a smart appearance befitting the company.Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.Be calm & confident under pressure in dealing with confrontational situations in a professional manner.Must be able to demonstrate a professional and proactive approach towards Security and have an attention to detail and be proactive.Excellent time management & task prioritisation skills.Must have experience in working within a team as well as on your own and have the ability to operate in a pressurised environment.Job Responsibilities:To be responsible for the day to day running of the loading bay and deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site.To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site at all times and report any breach of these immediately to the Security ManagerTo ensure that all Deliveries and couriers are dealt with efficiently To ensure that all contractors are booked in and out effectively and maintain communication with the service teams accordinglyTo ensure the Handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all timesTo keep a proactive outlook & carry out regular patrols in conjunction with the extended security team.Liaise regularly with The Security Managers and Occupiers service teams ensuring that they are kept updated on all important aspects.Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.To be able to work as part of a teamBenefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailored Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsAnd much more!!A globally recognised Security Solutions Specialist delivering service excellence, to our Customers, Colleagues, and Communities.
