Summary
Please note in regards to location this role is peripatetic to be based in South West or Central England. Frequent travel will be required across the area.Working hours: Minimum of 35 hours per weekInterview Date: To be confirmedSupport & lead the provision of business support, to an allocated portfolio of corps (churches) to ensure financial control and effective decision making. A large element of the role will be working with non-financial budget holders, providing training and assisting them with finance issues.Key Responsibilities:To support of corps officers, finance locals, corps in their financial activitiesTo lead in the admin & regular tasks within the teamTo assist in the support of divisional leaders in their respective financial activitiesTo assist in monitoring corps budgets, investigate variancesTo assist in monitoring performance of charity shops, cafes and similar activities of the corpsTo support the wider finance team as requiredSuccessful candidate will have: Ability to travel flexibly as requiredA minimum of two years’ experience in an accounting role using accounting systemsGCSE Maths at grade C or above; AAT or equivalent preferredGood oral and written communication skills good organisational skillsGood team working skillsGood customer service skillsIn order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.
