Redhill Academy Trust Pay Scale, Band 7Scale points 32 - 36Actual salary: £22,094 - £23,923 per annum (FTE: £26,141 - £28,305)32.5 hours per week, term time onlyFixed Term until 23 July 2026Required to start as soon as possibleWe are now looking for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, to provide behavioural support to promote individual students' progress who have special educational needs. The role is temporary due to funding related to specific student (Year 7). The successful candidate will be required to:Work on a one to one basis with a Year 7 student who has specific needs.Work with individuals and small groups of children within a classroom situation to ensure each child has the maximum access to all learning activities.Liaise with subject teachers and The SENDCo to clarify and agree the nature of the support needed, developing strategies to achieve positive behavioural outcomes.To be successful in this role you will have:Minimum of 5 GCSE’s A* - C including English and Maths or equivalent Minimum of two years’ experience working as a Teaching Assistant ideally with students who display behavioural issues, or within a behaviour support setting.Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification - Level 3 required for Band 7 salary mentionedPositive Handling trainingTupton Hall School is part of Redhill Academy Trust.
