We are seeking a Security-Focused School Caretaker for a large secondary academy in North Leeds.

The Job Role:
- Managing site security, including CCTV monitoring and regular perimeter checks.
- Conducting vital Health & Safety checks, such as fire alarm testing and water temperature monitoring (Legionella logs).
- Liaising with external contractors for major repairs and ensuring they follow site safety rules.
- Handling emergency call-outs and ensuring the school is safe during inclement weather (e.g., gritting paths).
Requirements:
- Mandatory: Proven UK experience in site security or school caretaking.
- Excellent communication skills for dealing with staff, pupils, and contractors.
- Strong organisational skills to maintain digital and paper safety records.
- An Enhanced DBS check (Randstad can assist with this).
