Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver & General Warehouse Operative to support daily logistics and warehouse operations. The role involves delivering goods safely and on time, as well as assisting with general warehouse duties to ensure efficient stock handling and order fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Duties
• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and collect goods as scheduled
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Load and unload vehicles, securing goods to prevent damage
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance needs
• Comply with all road safety, transport, and company regulations
Warehouse Duties
• Assist goods in receive, check, and store incoming goods
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
• Assist with stock control and inventory counts
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Operate warehouse equipment
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Skills & Requirements
• Valid driving licence – Must be 21+ for insurance
• Previous driving and/or warehouse experience preferred
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Desirable
• Forklift licence – Advantageous but not required
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Experience with delivery documentation
Working Hours
• Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm
• Friday 8am – 3.30pm
Benefits
• 28 days holiday however after 3 year’s service, extra day accrued each year up to maximum of 5 extra days, pension, & overtime.
