Randstad Education is looking for enthusiastic EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Supply Teachers to support primary schools across Leeds. From the heart of the city to the surrounding suburbs, we provide flexible work that fits your schedule.

The Role

As an EYFS specialist on supply, you will be responsible for creating a safe, imaginative, and stimulating environment for children aged 3 to 5. You will need to be adaptable, energetic, and ready to jump into "Continuous Provision" at a moment's notice.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Leading EYFS classes (Nursery or Reception) with a focus on the seven areas of learning.

  • Implementing Phonics sessions (e.g., Read Write Inc or Jolly Phonics).

  • Assessing student progress through observations.

  • Building instant rapport with teaching assistants to ensure the classroom runs smoothly.

Requirements

To be considered for our Leeds supply pool, you must meet the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent EYFS specialism.

  • Must have experience teaching within a UK school setting.

  • A deep understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework and "Development Matters."

  • The ability to provide two professional references.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one).
