Reporting to: Business Manager & HeadteacherCatherine Infant is a large four form entry school with a 60-place nursery and a 10 place designated specialist provision (DSP) for pupils with communication and interaction needs. The school is located in Belgrave serving a community with a range of cultures. The school predominantly includes pupils with EAL, some pupils with significant SEND needs and new arrivals to the country. It’s an exciting time to join the school as we moved into our brand-new state of the art school in 2025.
We are seeking a dedicated Office Manager and Attendance Leader to join our vibrant school community. The successful candidate will play a central role in maintaining high standards of organisation, supporting staff, pupils, and families, and leading our attendance provision with professionalism and care. The school office manager & attendance leader will be responsible for:
- overseeing the daily administration of the school office including line managing administrative staff
- administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school, maintaining confidentiality at all times
- manage the school’s management information system [MIS] e.g. SIMs
- assist with all the planning and development of support services
- ensuring effective communication with the school community e.g. parents & stakeholders
- strategic lead of whole school pupil attendance including liaison with the LA admissions/EWO teams
- safeguarding as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leader
- maintaining and the development of the school website
- supporting individual families to access school in liaison with school leaders
- overseeing specific administrative processes e.g. pupil medical & dietary needs
- ensuring that all statutory and local authority returns are completed and supplied to the appropriate body and that they comply with the appropriate government/LA standards.What we can offer you:
